We are now offering FREE DELIVERY on all orders over £30 to UK mainland addresses.

We are happy to post to addresses outside of the UK Mainland – please contact us for a quote before ordering.

For orders under £30 standard shipping (Royal Mail) costs £3.95.

We aim to dispatch your order (except favours and bespoke orders) within 3-5 working days, although this can take longer at busy times.

We aim to dispatch all wedding favours and bespoke orders within 2 weeks and will negotiate an anticipated dispatch date with you when we receive your enquiry.

Yes, if you would like to collect your order add the coupon code COLLECT at the checkout. This will remove the delivery charge. You are then welcome to book a slot with us to come and collect your goodies!

We don’t keep our stock at Jam Packed HQ, so please give us at least 24 hours notice before you would like to click and collect. We will then prepare your order for collection from KT17 2LN or a local market and confirm when this is ready for collection.

For orders of up to 2Kg we use Royal Mail services (standard delivery times 2-3 working days). We do not add tracking to these orders, but we will have a reference number at the time of posting so will be able to check when this has been delivered. Please email us sales@jampackedpreserves.co.uk if you would like to ask us any questions about your delivery and we can check this for you.

For orders over 2Kg we use a DHL Next Day delivery service. You will normally be sent an email with tracking details.

We do not normally ship internationally, but are happy to give you a quote for this if you need.

Yes! All of our products available via the website are suitable for vegans and vegetarians. We do occasionally make fresh curds for sale at Farmers’ Markets and other events, which are suitable for vegetarians, but not vegans as they contain butter and eggs.

Our products are all dairy free and most are gluten free, however a few chutneys include ingredients that contain gluten, such as malt vinegar and ale. They are made in an environment that does handle gluten and dairy ingredients. All products have information about whether they contain gluten or not on the website.

We have always remained true to making our preserves properly, just like Grandma used to make – in small batches, hand-stirred with local and sustainable sourced ingredients. And of course, absolutely jam packed with fruit. We aim to make the very best tasting preserves. This means we use more fruit and a shorter cooking time to keep the colour and flavour of the fruit.

In the industry jams that have more fruit in them are called extra jams, because that’s exactly what you get, extra ingredients! Our jams contain at least 50% fruit, which is more fruit than typical supermarket brands. This is what makes our preserves taste so damn good!

No. Occasionally we use an organic ingredient, but we do not set out to make our preserves using only organic ingredients. We think it is more important to support British growers, so we choose to buy our fruit from small family run farms close to Jam Packed HQ and that use as few pesticides as possible. If the fruit grows in the UK we will always buy fresh British fruit, sugar and veg when it is in season and frozen when it is not. We will tell you where we buy our fruit from on each individual product listing.

Most of our products have a two-year shelf life from the date we make them when stored in a cool dark place, such as a cupboard. The sugar and vinegar in our products preserve the fruit and veg to stop harmful bacteria growing. We do not make low sugar preserves, because it is important to have enough sugar to keep the food safe.

Once opened our products should be kept in a fridge and used within a few weeks.

We make some varieties of jam in small quantities each year when the fruit is in season. These limited edition seasonal varieties are normally available from late July / August onwards and when they are gone they are gone! We have written the month these will normally be made on each product listing.

We also make some seasonal and limited edition Christmas products, such as Boxing Day chutney and cranberry sauce. These may be available after Christmas, but we can’t promise.

We aim to make sure we do not run out of anything, but this can happen. We make little and often and sometimes we may not be able to get hold of the main ingredients for a while. If this happens we will normally make sure the product is marked as out of stock on the website and you will not be able to add this to the basket.

If you would like to know when this is likely to be back in stock you may email us sales@jampackedpreserves.co.uk or call us on 0208 394 1556 and we will be able to let you know.

Yes, of course! You can add a message at the checkout so tell us what you would like to say and we will make sure this is added in with your delivery.

Packaging2022-02-07T09:30:36+00:00

We only use as much packaging as necessary to keep your products safe in the post. We individually wrap each jar in a paper “bubble wrap” and then put them in a sturdy outer cardboard box made from sustainable sources. We seal the box with a kraft paper tape, so you won’t find any single use plastic in our packaging!

Having said that we do sometimes re-use plastic air bags, bubble wrap or biodegradable packing peanuts that we have received with other deliveries and often deliver to our wholesale customers in re-used cardboard boxes. We believe it is more important to make sure any packaging that can be re-used is re-used, giving it a second (or third) life before it is recycled or thrown into landfill.

We truly believe it is important to reduce the amount of packaging we use, reuse as much packaging as possible and make sure that we use packaging that you can easily recycle at home.

Our jars can be recycled in your kerbside recycling scheme, or return them to us at a local event if convenient and we will clean, sterilise and reuse them.

Our jar lids are made of aluminium and can be recycled with metal recycling at local recycling centres. We cannot reuse these.

Our labels are themselves made from the waste material from the sugar industry (sugar cane, linen and hemp) and are recyclable. The gold foil printing on the labels is also recyclable. There is no need to remove the label from the jar before putting it in your kerbside recycling box.

Our outer paper wrappings and cardboard boxes can all be recycled in local kerbside recycling.
